Cases & Studies :: A new business model for Boots
One of the standards of the British high street, Boots has only recently entered the US market. There were several challenges presented to Code and its partner Agency Republic: relaunch the Boots brand and its product brands in US; allow for a volatile product inventory and regular promotions; enable Ecommerce from the site; and empower the Boots US marketing team to control all aspects of the site.
Code’s site combines a rich customer experience of the Boots master and product brands with a simple and fast product-finder, built around insights into how women shop for cosmetics. Products are deep linked into Boots’ distribution partners enabling customers to shop direct from the site
Under the hood, the site is built on a powerful content management system which allows non-technical Boots staff to manage and promote their product inventory using an Information Architecture devised by Code, plus to add additional promotional and other content.
